Between 6th-26th February 2004, sewadars of GNNSJ Birmingham had the rare privilege of learning ‘shud ucharan’ (correct reading and pronunciation) of Gurbani paath from Bhai Joginder Singh Vedanti Ji, Jathedar of Akal Takhat Amritsar. Classes ran 6-7am every morning and 7-9pm every evening
Historic Girls Empowerment Retreat Brings Six Major Sikh Organisations Together in Kenya
The Nishkam International Girls’ Spiritual Retreat 2026 was held in Kenya from 17–27 August, bringing together 60 girls, 20 educators and approximately 50 GNNSJ sewadars.
