Between the 25th August and 2nd September 2001, GNNSJ served langar to thousands of Ram Katha participants in a spirit of kinship. For the Sikh and Hindu communities this was a profound act that transformed people who came together in unprecedented ways, building a spirit of mutual respect and support that continues in Birmingham to this day.
Historic Girls Empowerment Retreat Brings Six Major Sikh Organisations Together in Kenya
The Nishkam International Girls’ Spiritual Retreat 2026 was held in Kenya from 17–27 August, bringing together 60 girls, 20 educators and approximately 50 GNNSJ sewadars.
