Millennium Act of Reflection and Commitment

Representatives from the faith communities and members of the audience joined in to recite an Act of Commitment at the Palace of Westminster, The event included the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. The commitment which focused on working together for the common good through shared values and ideals, began: “In a world scarred by the evils of war, racism, injustice and poverty, we offer this joint Act of Commitment as we look to our shared future”.
