GNNSJ Birmingham opened a Gurudwara at 18-20 Soho Road, Handsworth, B21 9BH, with a Sampat Akhand Paath (11-day continuous prayer). It was also officially registered as a charity with charities commission. This also marked the start of langar, Nishkam Gurmat School, monthly amrit sanchars (initiation ceremonies), and bi-annual prayers for world peace at this site
Historic Girls Empowerment Retreat Brings Six Major Sikh Organisations Together in Kenya
The Nishkam International Girls’ Spiritual Retreat 2026 was held in Kenya from 17–27 August, bringing together 60 girls, 20 educators and approximately 50 GNNSJ sewadars.
